⁣⁢On the obverse, the handle is similar to that of a real tennis racket; the engraving reflects the object's reality. On the strings design, a crocodile and a ball are featured. The Crocodile, René Lacoste's nickname, has become the brand's emblem. And in tribute to Simone Thion de La Chaume, his wife, also a champion, the tennis ball takes on the

REVERSE

⁣⁢On the reverse, the same realism with the only additional detail being the year placed at the top
of the handle. The iconic cotton pique pattern replaces the cord. The cord design, meanwhile, appears at the top of a polo shirt depicted below the face value,
whose zeros resemble tennis balls.⁤⁣
