OBVERSE
The obverse depicts a view of the West Lake, featuring its iconic pagodas and bridges, as well as the local flora in an artistic style, highlighting the area's rich heritage. The Chinese name, year of minting, and the initials RF are integrated into the design with a sinicized font.
REVERSE
The reverse is common to all coins in the UNESCO series. It depicts the globe with parallels and meridians on the left side and inscriptions of major World Heritage sites classified by UNESCO on the right side. These inscriptions appear engraved in stone, echoing the Rosetta Stone. The left part of the globe is surrounded by the UNESCO logo and the marking "World Heritage". The face value is inscribed on the left side of the globe, blending perfectly with the parallels and meridians.
