Collection of euro coins issued in Portugal in 2019, struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality on specially polished metal discs and packaged as a postcard. Designs inspired by Alto Alentejo stone pottery, distinguished by the use of an ancestral decorative technique, traditionally crafted by women, where small quartz stones are manually embedded into previously scratched clay, giving rise to pots, jars, and other pieces that are abundantly decorated but still fulfill their primary function: to preserve fresh water for domestic use or quench the thirst of rural workers in the fields.
