OBVERSE

The obverse of the colorized 10€ Silver Proof coin depicts the busts of Marten Soolmans and Oopjen Coppit. The names of the subjects, the painter, and the year separate the two paintings. The edge of the coin is decorated with the original frame of the portraits as well as the museums where they are alternately housed: the Rijksmuseum at the bottom and the Louvre at the top.

REVERSE

The reverse, common to the entire collection, depicts the Louvre building seen from the inner courtyard. In the foreground is the famous Louvre Pyramid, through which we see an essential artwork: the Winged Victory of Samothrace. The name of the museum is inscribed at the bottom of the pyramid, as are the hallmarks at the ends. The mention "RF" and the face value appear above the roofs of the Louvre Palace.
