Louvre Museum
The Paris Mint also honors the Louvre as a museum in 2025 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the passing of Dominique-Vivant Denon, who was the first director of the Louvre Museum and director of the Mint of Medals, one of the historical entities of the Paris Mint.
