⁣⁢The euro coins of the Slovakia have been legal tender in the euro zone since January 1 2009. They all have different designs, with a common theme for each of the three types:⁤⁣

⁣⁢- on the 1, 2, and 5 cent coins, you find Mount Kriváň, the country's highest mountain;
- on the 10, 20, and 50 cent coins, you find Bratislava Castle;
- on the 1 and 2 euro coins, you find the double cross, placed on the three mountains, which remains the national emblem of Slovakia.⁤⁣
