Behind it, a vertical fasces is surmounted by the hand of justice. To the right, a rooster stands on one leg. At the very bottom of the coin, in the center, the engraver's signature, Dupré.

Reverse

The French motto: Liberty, equality, fraternity surrounding a crown of oak leaves. The coin's value 20 FRANCS and the year are inside it.
