⁣⁢"In the Air" is the first issue of a 3-part series "Air in Motion" with a translucent polymer ring.⁤⁣

In 2019, the polymer ring on the 10 euro coins will be transparent and tamper-proof like a modern banknote. The design of the five coins depicts a person gliding through a mountain landscape by paraglider.

  On the upper part of these coins are the words: "IN DER LUFT" (in the air in French). It also features the federal eagle and the inscriptions "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND," meaning Federal Republic of Germany in French, the face value "10 EURO," and the year "2019." The name of the coin series "LUFT BEWEGT" (Air Moves) is found on the edge of the coin.

This set of five coins in UNC quality from the different mints (Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, and Hamburg) features a transparent polymer ring.
