Despite his flaws, Pinocchio deeply loves his father, Geppetto. His first truly selfless act comes when he risks everything to save Geppetto from a whale. This sacrifice shows the Blue Fairy that he is worthy. The Blue Fairy then transforms Pinocchio into a real boy, fulfilling his dream.⁤⁣
