⁣⁢To celebrate Asterix's sporting achievements, the Paris Mint is exclusively striking a shaped coin
representing the most famous of the Gauls. Perched on the top step of the podium, Asterix stands proud and
holds in his hand a laurel wreath as a reward for his sporting exploits. ⁤⁣

REVERSE

The reverse of the coin is adorned with pictograms related to sport and the Olympics and features the coin's face value, its year of issue, and the initials RF for "République Française".
