⁣⁢This Austria annual set includes the eight euro coin denominations from the 2019 minting year, struck in BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) quality, celebrating the 825th anniversary of the founding of the Austrian Mint. Established with the ransom paid in 1194 for the release of King Richard 'The Lionheart' of England, who was held in Dürnstein Castle since 1192 by Duke Leopold V of Austria.

- 1, 2, and 5 cent coins - elements of flora with a gentian, an edelweiss, a traditional symbol of Austrian identity, and the alpine primrose, all from the floral series, which recalls Austria's ecological duty and its role in implementing a community environmental policy.⁤⁣


⁣⁢ - 10, 20, and 50 cent coins - St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of the jewels of Viennese Gothic architecture; the Belvedere, one of the most beautiful Austrian palaces in Baroque style; and the Secession Palace in Vienna, a symbol of the birth of Art Nouveau in Austria.⁤⁣


⁣⁢ - 1 euro coin - effigy of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his signature, famous Austrian composer, in tribute to the country's musical culture.⁤⁣


⁣⁢ - 2 euro coin - effigy of the pacifist Bertha von Suttner, Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 1905.⁤⁣
