Issuing country name REPUBBLICA ITALIANA (in French "ITALIAN REPUBLIC") and design by engraver Uliana Pernazza, whose signature appears at the bottom left, honoring the cities of Bergamo and Brescia, designated Italian Capitals of Culture in 2023, depicting historical buildings of the first city, namely the Galgario Tower (in Italian Torre del Galgario), the Cathedral Baptistery (in Italian Battistero del Duomo), Saint James Gate (in Italian Porta San Giacomo) and the Palace of Reason (in Italian Palazzo della Ragione), as well as monuments of the second city, namely the castle named the Falcon of Italy (in Italian Castello Falcone d’Italia), the Palace of the Loggia (in Italian Palazzo della Loggia) and the Capitolium (in Italian Capitolium)
