OBVERSE

The inner part of the coin depicts the old cathedral of Salamanca, which, along with the new cathedral it is attached to, forms the cathedral complex of the city of Salamanca. It is an episcopal seat of the diocese. Dedicated to Santa Maria de la Sede, it was founded at the beginning of the 12th century by Bishop Bérenger. Its construction, in Romanesque then Gothic styles, was carried out until the 14th century. Along the upper perimeter, the inscription "Salamanca", at the bottom, the name of the issuing country "ESPANA", and the year of issue "2025" with the mint mark of the Spanish Mint.
