He is surrounded by several symbols representing his actions: a symbol of the euro, a sign of his involvement in the introduction of the Euro and his European spirit; and a French flag depicted in heraldic colors, itself adorned with RF, highlighting his presidency of the Republic. His dates and name are integrated into the Euro symbol. The denominations and the year are integrated into the design.⁤⁣
