OBVERSE

On the obverse, a paper airplane flies through a sky dotted with stars, between Saturn and the clouds. This airplane carries two passengers: the Little Prince and the fox, who look over the side to observe what is happening below them. The paper airplane evokes both the world of childhood and the pages of the book that brings The Little Prince to life. 

REVERSE

On the reverse, the logo for the 80th anniversary of The Little Prince, composed of the character's bust leaning on his hand in front of the number 80, overlooks the face value. All along the edge, the inscription of the name "Le Petit Prince" in French, English, German, and Japanese recalls the character's universal dimension. The mention RF, the mint's and the chief engraver's marks, as well as the year 2026, are also present.
