OBVERSE

The obverse features a biplane, reminiscent of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's aircraft, flying over a desert. On board, the Little Prince, always accompanied by his faithful fox companion, looks with curiosity at the dune-filled desert. Among them, a telescope and a pilot's helmet can be seen, souvenirs left by Saint-Exupéry for his character to encourage him to explore Earth. A strange sky, where the sun, stars, and Saturn all shine, gives the impression that the Little Prince is neither on Earth nor in space. Along the edge of the coin, the name "Le Petit Prince" can be read.

REVERSE

On the reverse, the logo for the 80th anniversary of The Little Prince, composed of the character's bust leaning on his hand in front of the number 80, overlooks the face value. All along the edge, the inscription of the name "Le Petit Prince" in French, English, German, and Japanese recalls the character's universal dimension. The mention RF, the mint's and the chief engraver's marks, as well as the year 2026, are also present.
