The coin features, on the left side of its inner part, the effigy of His Royal Highness, Grand Duke Henri, facing right, and on the right, his monogram (a special H surmounted by a crown). The twelve stars appear in a semicircle to the right of the monogram. The year 2004, surrounded by the mint mark and the engraver's initials, as well as the word LËTZEBUERG are inscribed in a circle at the top of the ring. The words - HENRI - Grand Duke of Luxembourg - appear at the bottom of the ring.
