On the right, in a semicircle, the name of the issuing country "SAN MARINO" and the year "2021"; on the left, the letter "R" for the Rome mint, below it the mark of Silvia Petrassi, the author of the plaster model, and "MOD". In the lower left part, the initials of the sketch designer "AL" (Arno Ludwig).
The outer ring of the coin depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.⁤⁣
