The Pure Gold Strike Disney Classics "The Fox and the Hound"

For over 80 years, animated films from Disney Studios have captivated audiences of all ages. The characters all embody universal moral values. The Fox and the Hound: the 29th "animated classic" from Disney Studios has been immortalized on this 24-carat gold strike.

Inspired by Daniel P. Mannix's novel "The Hound and the Fox," the story recounts the adventures of Tod, an orphaned fox cub, who befriends the farm animals where he is taken in, and Copper, the neighbor's youngest hunting dog.

On the obverse, you'll find the characters Tod and Copper frolicking gently. They are illustrated with vibrant colors that precisely match the original colors from the Disney film. On the reverse, you can find iconic characters from the Disney universe such as Ariel, Snow White, or Mowgli.
