⁣⁢On the obverse of this collector coin, two racing cars are depicted within a
24-hour chronometer. The reverse proof finish on the upper part of the coin differentiates day from night, adding contrast and extra depth. The headlights of the vehicle driving at night illuminate the "100" marking the centenary of the 24H of Le Mans, while also lighting the way beyond this edition of the competition.⁤⁣

REVERSE

On the reverse, two portraits of drivers face each other. The portrait on the left evokes a driver from the early 20th century, participating in the first edition of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest endurance race, while the portrait on the right marks a century of evolution in automobile competition. The 24H circuit layout acts here as a mirror, a window opening onto the past as well as the future.
