Obverse

The central part of the room represents a shield and a runner/warrior, symbols of freedom and values ​​defended on the occasion of the battle of marathon. The bird that adorns the shield symbolizes the birth of Western civilization as we know it today.
The external ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
