The role of the Malta Community Chest Fund in society - solidarity by love.

Obverse

This play will commemorate the role of the Malta Community Chest Fund in society through a program for secondary education students, entitled "From Children in Solidarity". This program presents the social role of children in five areas, the first theme being "solidarity by love". This drawing is the work of Miss Sarah Cilia, a secondary student, who illustrated this theme by means of two hands forming a heart in which the Maltese flag appears. At the bottom of the drawing is the inscription "Malta 2016". Two stylized representations of human bodies are drawn on each wrist.

The outside ring of the room represents the twelve stars of the European flag.
