Commemorative piece

570th anniversary of the birth and 500th anniversary of the death of the architect Bramante (1444-1514).

Obverse

The piece represents the portrait of Bramante and part of the Tempietto (in Italian: "small temple"), a small commemorative tomb built by Donato Bramante, probably from 1502, in the courtyard of San Pietro in Montorio and considered as a master 'Work of the Italian architecture of the High Renaissance. The inscription "Bramante Lazzari Delle Penne di San Marino" almost entirely surrounds the drawing. Below, the initials of the artist "MCC" (Maria Carmela Colari) and the workshop brand. The outside ring of the room carries the twelve stars of the European Union.
