Greece 2021 - 2 Euro commemorative - 200 years of the Greek revolution - Colorized

This play commemorates the beginning of the Greek revolution towards independence. On March 25, 1821, the Greek separatists gathered in the National Assembly in Epidaurus. The central field of the room presents the Greek flag in the center, surrounded by bay branches. On the inner edge have the words "1821-2021 200 years since the Greek revolution" and "Hellenic Republic" on the inner edge. Downstairs, between two bay branches, a palmette is visible (the workshop brand of the Greek currency) and the artist's signature (George Stamatopoulos).

Slicer: Striped and insulted, we find there the mention "ελληνικη Δημοκρατια*" in a Greek alphabet which means Hellenic Republic for the Republic of Greece.
