On the Coincard obverse, you will see the most important characters in the franchise. On the right, the Hobbit Frodo Baggins and next to him his friend Sam. Of course, Gollum cannot be missed. You will also find other well -known characters like Sauron, Arwen, Aragorn II, Gandalf and Galadriël. Bottom right, the text "The Lord of the Rings" is placed. Left below is the year 2022. On the back of the Coincard is an image of the Legolas character, interpreted by Orlando Bloom.

The room highlights, in the middle, the white tree of the Gondor, symbol of the continent Gondor, which brings luck, according to the inhabitants. Around the tree is the famous text which is also on the ring. The text says: "A ring to govern them all, a ring to find them, a ring to bring them all and in darkness to bind them". On the reverse is the logo of the Malta Central Bank, the private brand and the year of broadcast.
