The Colors of Paradise is what you get when a master of mint decides to apply his artistic skills to a classic high quality piece. The Germania Mint started with three pieces of silver in Canadian maple of 1 ounce and coated them in gold on the front, back and sides. Then they painted images of beautiful birds found in island forests on the back of the rooms. The three birds are the oriental dwarf martin, the large bird of paradise and the hummingbird with a fiery throat. These birds are very colorful and beautiful. They then use a "funky holo" treatment which gives it an amazing and captivating look. The image covers the complete side of this room which normally has the image of a Canadian maple sheet.

On the obverse of the play is Queen Elizabeth II of Canadian artist Susanna Blunt. Traditionally, this piece represented the queen at different times in her life and she shows her at 79 years old. The queen is turned to the right in this portrait and she wears a simple dress, a pearl necklace and pearl earrings. She seems to receive guests or something more relaxed, but she nevertheless has a majestic and confident air. On his right shoulder is "SB" for the artist's initials. Above the portrait is 'Elizabeth II'. Under the queen is "$ 5 2022". On this side, you can really see the golden coloring and how it accentuates the design.
