The state currency of the city of the Vatican issues this official medal on the theme of peace in Ukraine in order to join the calls for the arrest of arms and the return to dialogue.

Two artists,Orietta Rossi and Daniela Longo, each designed one side of the medal.The first face represents three people fleeing a city destroyed by the bombs with all their lives in a suitcase and a plush in hand, guided by a young mother who walks towards us by reminding us of our duty to welcome and solidarity.Above, in Latin and cyrillic, the PAX - Mиp words appear.On the obverse, Daniela Longo represents a dove of peace, under the coat of arms of Pope Francis.
