Equality: The internal part of the play represents Marianne from the front, she is wearing a Phrygian cap and a cockade. Equality is represented by the equal sign which comes from the letter E; It symbolizes equality between the different characters of the spiral that surrounds Marianne, composed in equal number of men and women. 

Fraternity: The internal part of the play represents Marianne de Trois-Quarts, she is wearing a Phrygian cap, a cockade and is accompanied by a few birds in full flight. The fraternity is symbolized by the letter F of the word fraternity. The letter turns into hand drawing, they connect men and women with each other. Fraternity is a key foundation of the Republic.

The reverse is a common composition with the facial value surrounded by two branches, one of oak, the other of bay leaf, which evoke the acronym of the euro. The entire pattern is supervised by an assembly of lines representing France.
