In Chinese astrology, the sign of the buffalo is characterized by endurance, seriousness and reliability. It is a being who is able to achieve his goals without changing the course or determination.

Surrounded by a circle with traditional Chinese patterns, a buffalo appears in the center of the face. Only the front part of the animal is revealed as if it came out of a door by gently pointing the tip of its muzzle outwards. The ideogram of the buffalo appears on the right of the animal. The vintage as well as the inscription "Year of the buffalo" appear at the bottom, in the most external circle.

On the reverse, we find all the animals of the Chinese zodiac spread over a screen surrounding a traditional temple door. The figures of this calendar are organized in the form of a zodiac cycle, from 2018 to 2029. Each of these twelve years highlights a different animal.
