The 5 euros play "Aronde butterfly" is the third program of the series "Le Monde marvelous des Insects" and the second part of 5 euros collection to be struck in 2023. This series, which started in 2022 , will end in 2024. In total, nine pieces will be struck with partially colored patterns.

The Machaon is one of the most beautiful European diurnal butterflies and, with a scale of up to eight centimeters, it is one of the largest butterflies in central Europe. Thanks to the strong plastic representation, the creator managed to give an extraordinarily alive impression.
